2 Recent Trades for Scott

We’ve got two trades Scott Kennedy placed last week to share with our subscribers:

  1. Scott initiated a position in MFAN at a weighted average purchase price of $24.796 per share. Attractive price/yield in my opinion. Putting a bit of my unused capital to work. Each subscriber has their own risk tolerance, time horizon, and interest/dividend income goals. I hope this helps with subscribers' assessments/strategies.
  2. Scott initiated a position in MITT at a weighted average purchase price of $5.643 per share. Very attractive price (acceptable yield) in my opinion. Putting a bit more of my unused capital to work. Each subscriber has their own risk tolerance, time horizon, and interest/dividend income goals. I hope this helps with subscribers' assessments/strategies.

Weights for each position will be included in the subscriber portion of the Weekly Series. MFAN is a baby bond. I find it higher risk than some of the other baby bonds we cover, but much lower risk than common shares or even the preferred shares.

MITT is a common share with a very high risk rating (and a big discount). Big potential for gains, but it won’t be suitable for some investors who can’t deal with high risk or the need to manage positions actively.

If your idea of managing the portfolio is buying shares and never selling, please don’t jump on high-risk shares. They are tools for trading actively based on frequently-updated targets.
